This product is a colorless or pale yellow clear liquid with an irritant odor. It is soluble in organic solvent such as water, diethy[ethyl]ether, and ethanol. It is an excellent biocide.

(4) Use:
Glutaraldehyde is a fast, efficient and widely-used biocide. If used in industrial water treatment, it has the following advantages:
a.It is a high-efficient, widely-used biocide and algicide.
b.Its water solution can be degraded, and thus, it won't pollute the water.
c.Its toxicity is low. In 50-200 mg/L, it is almost not toxic.
d.It can be used in a wide pH range, and can be soluble in water, and won't corrode.
e.It will have chemical reaction with Ammonia, Ammonium Salt, etc., and thus, it is only suitable for ordinary fertilizer plants.
f.It is effective for all kinds of microorganism existed in oil field water injection system, so it is an ideal biocide for SRB, ferric bacteria, etc.
(5) Use way:
When you add this product (25%) for the first time in circulating cooling water system, if this system has never been added with biocides, then the first dosage is 100-150 mg/L. After 4-6 weeks, when the water becomes clear, adjust the dosage to 50mg/L.
(6) Packing & Storage:
25kg or 200kg in each plastic drum. Storage period is 1 year.
